Title: maxxis torch with pegs?
Post by: blueee on September 08, 2018, 05:47:26 PM
their wedsite said it can be used for light street but i’m looking at the sidewalls on the rear wheel  and they seem to stick out further than the tread, that would be sidewalk death with a few shirt feebles ..20x1.95

i’m running their ‘silkshield’ tires which they claim have some sort of sidewall protection

It sounds like maybe you already have one?

Without looking at the tire, maybe the angle your rear wheel is at when feebling might keep it out of the way. I don't have great things to say about Maxxis' lighter tires, I tried some a couple years ago and they were puncture magnets

i’ve rode the tire for about a month now and the tire seems fine although i’ve done almost no feebles
