Title: Vote Merry!
Post by: Merry on March 30, 2016, 02:05:37 PM: I've asked you guys to do this before, and I definitely appreciate those of you who have voted in the past. I've been nominated for two Music PEI (Prince Edward Island) awards, both of which are determined by a public vote - Weekend Warrior and Cover Band/Artist Of The Year.

In 2015, I played 157 solo gigs, while also holding down a full-time, Monday to Friday job. That's not supposed to sound like a "poor me, I'm busy" story, considering I love playing music and would be doing it for free if I wasn't playing live, but it's definitely a ton of work. I do write my own music, and have played in original bands in the past, but these nominations are essentially for the cover gigs I play.

Looking for some love from friends, acquaintances, and apparently the internet, so if you're down to help out, click the link below and send a vote my way in both categories. No need to sign up for anything. Just click and vote.
