would this void the warranty? sorry if this has been asked befor but cant seem to find a definitive answer
-
95% certain yes.
-
I'd recommend getting a 3/8ths hub.
If not maybe odyssey has some older dirt forks with 990's in 14mm?
-
If there ever was an issue stemming from your modification you wouldn't be covered

already own f25 forks, but found a rather decent deal on a 14mm profile
looks like im stuck with the marmo for now :(.
cheers lads

You can always grind the axle flat so it'll fit in the forks.

Profile has 3/8 conversion kits available.

I personally would not grind out the fork, the dropout is already quite small.

Not a bad thing. Better hub and not having to grind out forks sounds like a good outcome.

Sounds plausible but in practice it's the last thing you want to do
-
stick with the marmy, or try get hold of just the axle off a broken mini front hub on the cheap to switch out
