Title: "Classic" geometry?
Post by: Mat. on July 04, 2015, 11:00:55 AM: I've been looking for a new frame, something a bit shorter and lower than my Lurch. I'm looking for something with a 13.65-13.75" backend, 11.75" BB, 71° ST, 8-9" standover and 74-74.5° HT. That's what I think "classic" geo is, anyway. Or am I just out of touch? Does anybody still make a frame like this anymore? I know about the Pedal Driven Kool Thing, but is that it?

its real simple to tap holes for gyro tabs and also if you're buying direct from fbm/etc they could do it.

Post by: monteryroom on July 06, 2015, 09:53:55 PM: I was looking at the Fit Hartbreaker frame, and noticed that Fit can customize the geo for you. (customs page). I think the only change you'd have to do on that one is the BB height. They have an option for 11.7. Really cool looking frame. Some cool out there options too, like Mid or Euro BB, Chainstay, Seatstay, or V brake mounts. No doubt Gyro mount holes.

Well, I have done it before with minimal tools and my threads were pretty shit, ended up just jb welding them in place on my 2nd wave. I'm sure with the right tools it is much easier though. Current build is an aitken s2 and that sucker has the tabs welded on!
