I've had the shadow one, they're pretty nice

Post by: montymitch on May 10, 2015, 06:44:03 PM: I'm a big fan of Tripod over Pivotol. Looks cleaner, less bulk at the base of the seat, and doesn't loosen up and do that annoying side wobble.

Post by: Oddity on May 11, 2015, 09:14:50 PM: The Tripod is the way to go in my opinion, it's better looking and lighter while being just as strong. I love my Odyssey Monogram Tripod seat, it's grippy without being rough and feels nice between the legs and under my buttocks.

I've noticed my slim Tree sort of gonzo. I ordered a federal post and tripod.

Also, it feels a bit more centered over the seat post compared to a Pivotal seat if that makes any sense. Reminds me more of where I'd ride a railed seat at given the back/forth adjustment.

Post by: Kurt Hohberger on May 15, 2015, 12:12:06 PM: I'm running Tripod now and love it. I haven't had any issues with it coming loose or anything and it's quite a bit lighter for the weight wienies.
