mid is deffos the standard now though so its a good move

also you got 4 days to order and drop the $200 deposit so anyone who wants one best move fast

Quote
These should take roughly 7-8 weeks from the time I place the order for the batch. I will require a $200 deposit to hold your order. Frame cost is $390 plus $15.00 for shipping. Yes, shipping keeps going up! Once again, these deposits are going to help pay for the order, so I can't thank you enough. The cut off date for pre-ordering a frame is February 28th. This will insure that these are ordered as soon as possible, thus resulting in you getting your frame sooner than later.

I'm not so sure why your so angry about some people and their bicycles. I'm sincerely sorry if I've offended you in any way. I'll be sure try to live my life more to your liking from now on. To be fair I've only ever purchased one Barcode and I think I spent 30 dollars on it. Sorry again, for the disappointment.

Still S&M made... I like the idea of a 21.5 green with welded mounts but I won't trade my FBM for an S&M.

In light of the newer 24mm spindle cranks, I'm in favor of the mid bb..

Besides that, Spanish is superior in every way and for some reason the bearings last longer than Mid for me.

spanish is fine, but mid is larger and the bearings are a bit stronger so its not really a negative

I gave up my last barcode due to the spanish bb. Glad they are doing them mid now.

I don't see all the fuss about mid vs. spanish.  If mid gets me a little more brake clearance, cool, otherwise, I can't seem to find any fucks to give either way.

I am debating on one, but i can't decide which color. I got some rib cages in burgundy that would look good on the trans black, but I have some chrome elites laced to a bircage/ i forgot that would look good on the burgundy/green. With those I would want to go pegless as they are 3/8s. Anyone got any pics of a trans black frame, as I had never seen one, and the google searches they just look black.

Fapfapfapfapfap

If Dave built them I would immediately buy one (a la "Shut up and take my money").

I've actually had the thought of getting Dave to build a clone of an FBM Barcode but that would be rude to Joe and rather sacreligious. It would never be a "real" T1 either.

Many people have asked. Dave said he wouldn't do it.

whats the beef with s&ms barcodes?

S&M's frame QC has been spotty these days so problem frames are making it into the wild. I have talked to many people who have had an S&M (or S&M built frame) who had problems and will never own another.

My only S&M experience is with their 90s/early 2000s frames which were awesome. Not pretty, not the most detail oriented, but damn tough.

This is true in my experience as well. I have two friends who have had welded mounts snap off of their S&M-made frames.

So has anyone actually pre-ordered one?
Title: Re: Pre-Order your Barcodes

So has anyone actually pre-ordered one?

Yeah. 21/burgundy/welded mounts.

Welded mounts is kinda risky for me, because I really prefer to not ride brakes for the most part, but I have a removable mount frame from the last run I can run brakeless.

I'll kinda feel like a cock for having two Barcodes, but whatever.  It's better than spending the money on hookers and blow I guess.

Sweet. I ordered 21/trans black/removable mounts. I know removable mounts suck but I usually ride brakeless as well and just wanted to have the option to put them on once in a while.
Pretty excited for my first T1. Was originally just going to get a Hickerson frame but none of the latest batch made it to Australia.

I'd love to put in an order for one but I can't get myself to get rid of the wasp or my model c and I can't afford to have 3 bikes. Lol

Barcode in burgundy or green sounds amazing but like unsealed, I just can't get ride of my Solid. So for now, I'll just stare at everybody else's online and imagine I had one.

mate has ordered one so its nice to know at least one will actually get ridden and not have to sit on the mantlepiece
