Nah, looks much nicer and is lighter in person. Tyler Gillard was riding it last March and has been putting it through it's paces for a while. I would venture a guess as to it's been re-worked a few times sine then, but should be close. (I hope)

Didnt they say last (or the one before that) Interbike that it would be released before christmas?
Freecoaster producers should really try to restrain themselves on public comments on delivery dates.

I'm pretty sure they are riding on the final sample hubs right now. Pretty cool hub. Just hate the fact that it clicks when you aren't pedaling.

on the union frostbike profile article/stand visit write up, they say itll be available march 15th-id assume that if theres an actual date provided, theres a better chance of it surfacing than "sometime late next year"

I don't know a thing about freecoasters, but I seem to recall that for this one you needed to backpedal a slight bit in order for it to disengage. Is that how all freecoasters work?

To FULLY disengage, yes all coasters need this.

No, I'm saying I picked up a couple old Mix hubs and I'm going to harvest their parts and make one nice one because I can't be fucked ordering another set of brand new spokes for a hub with stupid flanges and small bearings..
