Title: 2014 FBM Angel of Death
Post by: mattywatty on February 15, 2015, 10:53:21 AM
After recently getting back into riding, I built up a new bike. It's actually my 3rd Fbm. I had the original AOD back in 2004, and after that I had a Capone. I'm loving this thing. Frame is super stiff, overall build is nice and light. Glad fbm is still making awesome stuff.

frame is a 21" AOD with welded brake mounts

Fork, stem, and seat post are fbm

Hoder high bars

Profile hubs and cranks

Gsport rims

Fit tires

Odyssey brakes

This looks awesome, but I'm conflicted over how I feel these should be built up. Like, I don't know what my ideal would be. Maybe a Sean Emery set up?

I reckon four piece bars, four or no pegs, fat seat, rear brake, bash guard and a bottle opener somewhere on the bike would be the ideal set up. Bonus points for peg bosses.

How awesome is it when a company stops making a dope frame then couple years later revive it and make it even better, I love it when they do this ! Clean man very clean !

Thanks for all the positive feedback. After a few sessions I can honestly say I love this bike. One thing that's surprising is how light the wheels are with the Birdcage rims. Putting a Tree Ergo Slim seat and US Apes on it as soon as they arrive. I'll try to post up some riding videos eventually.

Love it.  Needs fbm black flag bars

I think the tendency to want to overbuild these things with 4 pegs, a guard, etc. is the wrong move. I think the slimmer seat and black bars on this thing will look awesome. Post an updated picture when you have one.
