My thoughts exactly.  A strut under the tab and between the stays would have been a good idea.

I can't help but wonder why he used that gigantic square stock rather than some thinner round piping. Must weigh a million pounds.

There are insane amounts of bikes like that here in Copenhagen. There are 100000 different types and they are all super expensive.

This needs a warning. That:-

1. There is hours of that stuff. and
2. It isnt finished yet...

Really enjoyed watching it, but now I need to see it finished...

That is awesome, that Nick fellow sure knows how to fab and the amount of welding DAMN, love watching these.

CAD, cardboard aided design, had me in stitches...

I'm up to Ep 6, loving it.

Does anybody know more videos like that Project Binky? I really like videos where they show what they do and how they do it, instead of just saying 'Yeah we replaced this, channeled that etc".

good god, that shaman brings some of my best memories. i'm currently away from home, dug on some online storage and found one picture, don't know if it's viewable by the public - please let me know.

this was when the bike was still in semi decent shape, only the seat was fucked. looking back i really don't understand why i rode every part to death. like when things get worn, i buy new ones and often in bulk (dozens of tires and grips, 2 chains and a few pairs of pedals etc) and never bother putting them on. i guess with work limiting time availalble for riding i just wanted to spend on my time riding it.

i'll dig thru my backups for some pictures when i get home in a day or two, maybe we can start a nostalgia bike thread! i also think i have more pictures of G's old bike that G has himself
