Title: KHE Greyhound freecoaster?
Post by: Cmb4130 on January 04, 2015, 10:55:55 AM
These seemed solid. Why dont any shops have them? Particularly the female street version.

I'm looking to go backwards and these seemed like the most logical ones to go with considering I had nothing but good times on my Geisha hub back in 2008.

Any thoughts?

1.  it's essentially the same hub as a few others on the market
2.  the USA distro for KHE doesn't sell anything desirable to "core" shops other than KHE, so we rarely order from them

if you want, we (empire) can easily get a KHE hub

Yeh, there's several other companies that are using the same internals like Colony, Fiend, and Cinema.

I don't think any of them come with female axles, though.

Just ordered a KHE greyhound laced to a primo rim from empire.

Might take a week or two before they get it built up, so I may not see it until late January.

I'll post some pics when I get open the box.

I live in PA and the weather is terrible right now, so my next question is where will I test this bad boy out?

I haven't ridden a freecoaster in ages. I'm super pumped.
