Not by me by any means. We talked about it and weren't sure. We could ride up the slanted wall, do a quick 180 and then ride down the slanted wall like four times in a row, pedalling madly at the bottom. That was insanely tiresome and brought us to maybe the height of the concrete part in the middle of the slanted wall at the right. If you have super condition you might make it...
The problem is you can only ride almost straight up. The whole thing is made up of 6 segments with footwide peg-height channels in between (filled with water in the middle too). Each thing is 4 to 5 feet wide, except for the most front on which is 7 feet wide. I don't know whether, if you could get enough speed, you could change that energy into height instead of just slamming into the wall. A little concrete in the corner would definitely do the trick though.

I think I just love all types of full pipes. I have rode the Louisville one before and it is really awesome because of the bowl it is in. You can get some really good lines that end up in a high speed carve in the tube. The only smaller diameter ones I have rode have been "in the wild." And they were long so you could carve back and forth forever.

This is on my 21" Tree Little Buddy. It was a sample frame I bought from Tree when they were testing out some different frame options. Mine has a 75 HT, Spanish BB and a wild dual cable routing system. And it was pink. Loved that frame. Still have it, too!

This was my first 'dirt specific' bike I set up. I built this bike up because the 4 pegged, freecoaster Tree was coming back all fucked up from the trails after every session and I was tired of cleaning it and making the brakes work again. I sold an old video camera and BAM- my love for riding multiple bikes began. This is a 21.25 Doyle. This was also coincidentally the last session we had at Honda Hills in Rochester NY before the main guys started a new spot the next summer. We only rode this berm as a quarter this one day, but it worked so good! Perfect session to end on at Honda.

They were on the trusty Myspace!! Didn't even have to dig through my garage. Overall I was very stoked with how my brakes worked on this bike. They pulled very effortlessly when compared to dual cable set ups I had rode in the past. I also never ran into any issues where the cables were damaged being exposed the way they are along the underside of the TT. Interesting idea, but it is with out a doubt not for everyone.

Basically the idea behind this set up is to have as little cable housing as possible. This creates the least amount of friction on your cable pull.

I used Nokon cables to try and add to the frictionless feel. It also helps allow you to run a shorter bend on the cable from the gyro to the stop on the frame. (plus Ruben rode that shit, dude)

Nope, in Liverpool (NY) built up by some good friends, they've been working them up for years now. It's a super nice spot for trails. I finally went down the other day to help out and hang, ended up finishing the vert wall in one day.

There's a stream to the right that's perfect for water, vertwall is to the left, and there are a couple natural roll-ins in the rear along with where we hang out and sit around when we're not riding. Getting bigger and better every day!

The collapse works on a Ratchet but I would recommend not using a half link or master link.

Yes sir. 21.75" OG Model C frame. This bike has been rear ended by a Chevy Yukon pulling an enclosed trailer. I took it apart after the crash but had to build it back up. This is my favorite bike of all time, and I am not ashamed to admit it isn't a 20" wheel. Wish I still had that gold MDS.

Ha, that was kind of my motivation.... That jump was pretty lofty which I found helped out a little bit. Much like the tabe, it seems like turndowns are always a trick that you could do better and better. Until your name changes to Chris Doyle. Then, you have them down.

I think Colorado might be the greatest state in the US for BMX, 6 months out of the year.
We went for a quick road trip over the 3 day weekend up to CO from Austin. Left after work on Thursday night and drove straight to Trinidad and rode that park, completely alone. Then went up to Colorado Springs to ride that epic epic park till dark. Once we were done in Co Springs we drove north to Boulder. We "urban camped" at the park and were sessioning the hip before the sun was even fully up. Left that park and went to the Valmont Bike Park (public dirt jumps) and rode them until dark. Then drove to the new Arvada park (HOLY SHIT DUDE). We camped out at that park until the cops kicked us out at like 2:30 AM. Finished up our nights sleep at the local Walmart parking lot and was back sessioning the snake run as the sun came up. Rode Arvada all day and then headed into the mountains towards Frisco. Sessioned the shit out of that place, hit up some dope ass camping sight about 10-11,000' up in some mountains and then B lined it back to Austin in the morning.
To say that we rode some amazing spots in our 3 days is the biggest understatment I could make. Colorado is flat out amazing. We didn't even make

Spot is Frisco Adventure Park. There is even a skatepark there. The downhill line was so good. 30' table tops at full speed down a mountain. Yes please.

Currently built up in my garage:
The Model C shown. 21.75" tt and the 7.25" 24umph bars. This is the roast bike. Usually only ridden at Mable Davis skatepark (https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/424280_4391529470842_1225778656_n.jpg) in the deep bowl and at the trails. Its also one of my favorite bikes to just ride around on.
22" Wave C with front only brakes, 4 plegs and Odyssey Reloader freecoaster hub. This bike is a fucking tank and I ride it wherever.
Flatware Tango frame built up fully flat. 24mm Chase G forks and the 6 deg. Chase bars. I ride/have ridden flat the least amount of all other bikes, but it is really fun and I have been getting a bit more into it as of late.
Funday 2 is a 21" TT that is currently set up with only front brakes and 4 alloy Rifle pegs. I keep my rear brakes in my bag though. I have only had them off for maybe 2 months. I normally don't like to have my rear brakes off but have been having fun with it, so it will continue for now.
So basically the only bike I have that doesn't have a front brake on it is the green Model C.

I'd call it a Miami Hopper if the peg touches. In the 80's pegs started out really small and didn't really get in the way of that trick. Then pegs got much longer and flatland tricks like that one got a lot harder/dumber.

Yeah, I've watched him film a few clips and it was more like having a session with him while he films more so than watching him try to get a clip. Not like most people who sit and like hog a ledge or something while they try to get a clip for a half hour and get mad if you try to ride. Like he worries about other people getting to ride more than he worries about getting a clip.

He is also the nicest most outgoing person I have ever met. Anybody that has a chance to talk to him is just amazed by his charisma.

Most people that I've filmed with get all "in the zone" or just frustrated after a bit and do tend to hog the area they are riding pretty hard. It might be "common courtesy", but it's really far from common.

Common courtesy for me has always been if someones trying to film a clip don't get in their way. If I was trying to film a clip I wouldn't want someone getting in my way while I'm getting frustrated over something. I guess it's different when a little kid gets in your way or is trying to ride but 95% of the bikers/skaters around here show the common courtesy to let some one get a clip with out having to worry about someone getting in their way when they try something 20 times. Bruce on the other had is the opposite and from what I've seen wants everyone to ride while he's trying to film a clip.

I suck at dirt. Found these jumps very close to my new house, so I'm stoked to get some dirt skills back in gear, I was a teenager the last I really sessioned dirt. My bike is pretty much the worst possible setup for dirt, 4 pegs slick tires and only a front brake. Did I mention dirt?

I just started figuring out the straightening of the legs. I also think that I have "gone through the motions" enough times that I have a good muscle memory of that body position. I am starting to figure out what people mean when they say "crank into a turndown."
This mother fucker is 15 years in the making....... end goal is to do a look back air on a quarter pike. Then I will be happy.

Could be talking out of my ass here.......... but I feel like I bend at the waist a bit more now. That sort of helps fold you into the "Doyled out" position and I think that helps me keep my legs straight a little better. My biggest problem is my right knee not going fully straight (that is my back leg). Hopefully I can get a god damn moment of time to get some ramping in my life sometime this weekend.
I clicked one turndown air so far. That is another learning experience for me...haha. I have no clue how to describe how to do that one (like I said, I have really only clicked 1 in an air).
Tom, chime in with your wisdom of the turndown. Curious the method to your madness.

The ones that click, you know are clicked. I actually had a friend eye ball a few turndown air attempts and every time I knew it wasn't good, to which he would confirm. Then I somehow managed to get one cranked properly and you can really feel the difference.

Just do loads. I can only do tables and turndowns so my time riding doesn't get wasted on lesser tricks. Once you can get your back foot/leg/knee out of the way of the bars at 180 you can start leaning forwards more and pushing down. I like to kick the pedals and back end of the bike forward a bit too but I know some people who prefer legs straight down and more upper body leaning.
Edit: too many beers, that makes no sense. Practice more, you get better every time you do something.

Pull the front end up, twist hips to the left and straighten legs at the same time. Pull the bars to the right, lean forward and crank em down. Probably.

It really wasn't too bad as far as that stuff goes. The skaters usually take over the mini and you have to really not give a fuck about snaking people to get a run. But that is sort of the same old story of any mini ramp anywhere that has a deck full of people trying to ramp.

Hufnagel is correct. In that particular crank the front peg aint touching, but it did happen a few times and since the ledge is seemingly covered in super glue, it resulted in me going over the bars a lot.

I have no idea if it even has a name. Double peg, tip bike over, handstand, get back on and back into transition. Jay Miron did something similar decades ago but I think his was a headstand (in a full face) on the deck, not a handstand without touching the deck

Detroit is slowing turning into something from Skate 3 by the looks of it.

It really is. In the past 3 years or so there's been 2 DIY concrete skateparks, another one that was mainly street oriented stuff like a skate plaza kind of, and an abandoned lot got turned into a trails spot in the middle of the city. Bmx riders and skaters are taking over.

Ethan is still around, he's working at a local bike shop as the head mechanic. I only see him if I stop by the shop to hang out. Him and his lady are buying a house. Ken works and that's about it. I haven't seen Cory in a while, but he owns a gun accessory store (I think that's what it is).
If you're ever down near here again, we should ride something other than a parking lot. I feel like we owe you an apology for having you drive an hour or two out of your way to sit in front of a rite aid.
Oh, and are you still in NorCal? I need to head up to Napa to see my buddy soon, would be cool if we could squeeze in a little riding

not there yet, haven't practiced in a long time. my brother in law wanted to get into flatland so i built him a bike and got motivated to ride more. yes, fork glide into this but i didn't land it. i've ridden everyday for the last 3 days lol. my brother in law is picking it up good, i could post pictures of him riding.
