Title: Posting Warnings
Post by: marsh on January 25, 2008, 04:00:59 PM
On another board I use it gives you a warning if someone else posts a reply to the tread your replying too between the time you start replying and actually press the button post. Its quite a good idea, might be worth looking into?

Stops instances like this (http://www.bikeguide.org/forums/showthread.php?p=2249910&posted=1#post2249910) happening.

http://www.ukmb.net for one example.

And if your posting a decent, well thought out reply, with links, specific info etc it can take a while.

And sometimes you open, then they post seconds after, so your browser doesnt refresh in time, would just improve things a bit.

Not worth what it involves or causes.
