Title: Bikeguide turns 5 years old
Post by: sheepdog on October 01, 2007, 01:04:08 PM
BG is officially 5 years old Oct 2.

While we did have a site and forum up before this, Bikeguide.org the domain is now 5 years old and was sort of like the Grand Opening and official birthday.

For those curious the original site was started in may of 2002.

Damn. I've been on these message boards for way too long. I was on Ride for awhile before the suddenlaunch board.  I've probably been on these since I was around 14.

First post from a Newbie, here. Congrats on your 5 years. Just read your interview on BMX Union - good stuff with some solid insights on what it takes to run this site. BTW, found out about the site via the HAMB. Worked with Ryan in KC a few years back. He's good people.

What do you mean? I'm not usually one to boast but I am near (if not) the top of Physics, Maths C, Maths B, Chemistry and English at my school.

I'm not the best rider by any means, but it isn't hard to make time for riding, school and job.

its probably not properly

Ah the good ol suddenlaunch days. If it wasn't for this site I never would of been able to predicted that your steering colom on your van was about to exploude. Sure enough It did. Glad I wasn't there for that, and that you didn't get hurt heh. Ahh the magic Bikeguide posses.
