nobody deal with Scott__g. he is the most sketchy dude i have ever dealt with (and i've dealt with 30-40 people) i send 120 quid in the post to him, gets that in 2 days, then i send 40 and it doesnt arrive? this was for a frame that i should have had 3 weeks ago now. now he has tried to sell the frame to 2 other people and tried to trade his frame for another aswell. he also leant my 120 quid, MY hard earn cash to pay for this frame and now can't even offer me a refund (which is out of the question now, i need the frame so i can ride again). i informed him to not send or sell his frame to anyone as a letter is in the post regarding this. the response to this was "i couldnt give a fuck if the letter was from the queen, ill just photocopy a picture of my finger up my ass saying give me my other 40 quid!" he has lied to me on countless occasions, blocks you on msn because he knows he's been caught out and also doesn't know when to quit by the looks of things. he's also tried to say im the one fucking him over! i know sometimes i'm a bit late sending things but i'd NEVER fuck anyone over. so in general; sketchy bam, don't go near him. :)

even if they don't turn up you have rights man. he's made an agreement to sell you the cranks for x amount of money. if they don't turn up within the date he said you would get them you can fine a small claims thingy thru the courts. i doubt it'll get to that but you shouldn't be giving up that easily seeing as it's your money and he has made a deal with you.

this is what happened. i have not changed or left out anything.
i agreed to buy and S3 of him in September for the price of £100. i sent him a check and it arrived. he then informed me that the frame is going to m@tty because of some unrelated drama that i knew nothing about.
i wasn't happy but it was understandable. in desperate need for a frame i asked if he knew any going. he knew of a pantera 2. he asked £70 and i agreed.he cashed the check. he sent it out all well and good and it arrived quick. he was a bit strapped for cash so i said send the other £30 when you get chance.
i got in touch a few weeks after not receiving any money, he then said the £70 did not include postage and he only needed to give me £80. not cool, but i said ok.
it's been 9months. he said he sent cash and it must have got nicked and he is not ever sending it again.
it's not a vast amount of money, thats not why i'm angry. i gave him more than enough time to sort himself financially and he just abused that and chose not not pay.

The way I see it, looking from the outside is:

If there's no way either of you can prove that it was sent/the other person received it, then perhaps you should just let it go. I know it's easy saying that when I'm not the one who's lost money or would lose face/pride - but I think that's the only way this problem will be resolved. Or perhaps you could come to an amicable agreement - scott sending you some pedals or something - even though it'd be a small concession it'd be something and would draw a line over this business.
Scott seems like a decent fella from what I've seen of him, sold him some parts and sent the money as a PO quickly and was good throughout the sale.
Scott - Perhaps for your sake as a seller/buyer it might be an idea to send cheques/marked postal orders via recorded delivery and request that those buying off you do the same - that way people and yourself will know if you've received and cashed the money - and can prove it.
Anyways, I may be sticking my oar in, but that's the way I see it.

I'm not best pleased with dealing with Mikey_Bmxer. Bought some grips and a tyre off him. Paypal'ed him over the money and he said he wouldn't be able to get them out till Saturday. Fair enough, he tells me he sent the stuff Saturday as agreed and I wait.
This Saturday comes and the parcel just arrived, date posted : Wednesday. Tyre has 2 rips in the bead and is a different size than I was told! To add insult to injury I spent the morning fighting one of the grips that was inside out.
EDIT: the rips had tape over them so he was aware of them.

Complete waste of time. Agreed to swap a Frame and Forks i had, for a phone of his. We both agreed to post Friday. I organised a Courier to collect my stuff Friday. When Courier collected my stuff, i messaged him on here telling him it had been collected, and asked him if he had posted the phone. No reply (despite him logging in). I messaged his Phone (No reply). I messaged him throughout the weekend (no replys, despite him logging in). It got to Tuesday, and i luckily managed to hold the Courier in Transit. He then suddenly replied Wednesday saying he hadn't received my items and that he was going to post Wednesday. He still didn't. I got my stuff sent back to me. Waste of time and money.

The only reason I can see you wanting to return the item would be because it may have got damaged on the way. - This is why I'm not going to refund you any money.
