The Lounge / Re: BG's Current Injuries

I tried to ride my bike off a roof the other night. Both my shoulders and my ankles have been reminding me what a dumb idea that was. I guess the important thing is that I tried, because I got tired of looking at it.

either they wobble all the time or theyre so tight you have to cut them off.

What? Just...no.

Older Profile cranks had threaded arms so you could use an actual crank extractor to get them off. They seem to have removed this feature now though.
Which is great if you have to take them off the first time you install them. Miss a couple of grinds and those threads are fucked. Its hard enough to get the flushmount bolt washers out after a few missed grinds.

BMX really needs self extracting cranks.

Check out the new Eclat Aeon Cranks coming out in November, easiest cranks ever to install :)

I guess Germans dont have a word for market saturation. They look good though, I guess.

Before my next cassette purchase, i just need to know if a plastic Antigram hubguard is still in the works.
There were posts of Aaron Ross supposedly running one in dec. 2012?

Please make a poor man happy today G!

Coming from plastic hubguards going to alu makes zero sense in my mind, haha.
Such a smooth slide to it. Better than unprotected sex

If you cant get the actual bsd for antigram guard the bsd for profile guard works with a bit of filing.  Ive been running it since i got my antigram ptretty much.

Haro Revo.9 (first bike)

Macneil Heaton

 Macneil Friemuth with a euro

Traded that for a Haro Nyquist Sig bike frame with a euro and these crazy hydroformed tubes and gussets. That frame was rad.

Volume Dinosaur. I think I got this frame brand new for like 50 bucks. it was dope.

Hoffman Taj(Deebo?). It looked like a barcode. Was stoked, until I actually rode the damn thing.

Federal Hamilton. I burnt this frame in a fire. It looked awesome.

WTP Mono, with dropouts made of cheese

Psykopath team frame or something, it was probably the weirdest fucking frame ever.

Macneil Whitton 1 and 2, which is slightly ironic because I always kinda thought Whitton was a bit of a douche. The V2 was dope though.

Fit Hawk v1 for all of a week

WTP Phoenix.

Take Ivy, the only frame on this list that I actually broke, and probably my favourite of all of
them.

Bought a used FITED which hated, so I traded it for...

FBM PW Moto. The acquisition of this frame signaled a relatively short but sweet descent into a period of drug induced intoxication.

Fit s3.5- this frame signalled the end of the drugs, for the most part.

Fly Tierra

Fit Eddie C without the built in post. I hated this frame. I liken it to a limo with the front seat of a fucking clown car.

Bought a Mutiny Rune after this which was the rest of the goddamn clown car. I am not too sure what I was thinking when I bought a frame with a 13 inch backend. I was probably high.

Bought a used Kink Tocco off a friend of mine, that frame was awesome.

Traded the Rune for an S&M ATF, sold the Tocco, and rode the ATF all last summer.

Bought a Credence MOD in 21.5, which I really like, which probably means I'm going to break it.

I think that was all of them. In all actuality, the only one I'd want back is the Take Ivy v1.

As long as you evenly space the gap that will form between the sprocket and the crank bolt hole, you will be fine. If you don't, you'll bend your sprocket by tightening your sprocket bolt.

He's running splined so there isn't a sprocket bolt needed

Which is about 8 billion times better than trying to bodge spacers between the sprocket and the arm.

Plus, it doesnt seem like any major companies make a 'between the sprocket and crankarm' spacer that is readily available. However, it seems that could be solved by cranks using a set screw style sprocket bolt.
