I quit my boring sales job yesterday morning, at 5pm I went to a local gun store and told them I want to sell guns.  I start monday...Resigned, unemployed and working again in 9 hours.

Now I can do something I enjoy to do, with a huge pay cut but at least I will be happy.

Selling cash advances at 50-85% didn't make me feel to great.

Selling tools of freedom does!

Yeah, sage stock minus all of the forward rail would be nice.

I just want something with a solid bedding.  I've read the Springfield syn stocks are the flimsiest of them all (what I have).  Also, having a raised/adjustable cheek rest would be nice without having to use some strap on pad or something. I have seen the adjustable cheek rest you can drill and install yourself but not sure how well they turn out.

Check out a national match or super match walnut stock and have it professionally bedded, then never take the action out of the stock LOL.  You can to clean it, but if you have it professionally bedded to a walnut stock, it will shoot better than you, myself and anyone who hasn't been to camp perry.

Im looking for a carry weapon. I have come up with 3 that I really like. S&W model 19 2.5" barrel, S&W 686 2.5" barrel, or S&W 386 Night guard. I like the K/L frames. The only benefit I see with the night guard is it holds 7 rounds. Im looking to get one used and want to not spend an arm and a leg. What do you guys suggest

Ruger 2 inch gp100 .357

stronger than smiths, less of a collectible following so less money

I have used the sage, j allen etc every nice m1a stock from $800 to $2500 and they all suck compared to a good old fiberglass or walnut supermatch stock.

just picked up my first .22 earlier - a sig522...

For $500 I got the gun, a bipod, a hand grip, and a few other little things. Good deal? bad deal? normal price?

Shooting it feels good so far, but I'm pretty disappointed with how loosely all the plastic fits.

They feel alright and look real nice, but sadly its just a little semi auto 22 with a lot of plastic on it.

$500 is good for it with the accessories, but they are very picky on ammo, at least mine was.  I would only shoot federal bulk .22 thru it or CCI stingers/mini mags.

A ruger 10/22 would be a good next purchase.

Looks badass tho, have fun!

Cool name drop Issac.

Get over yourself.  Its an observation.

Anyways...just picked up a Rock River 18 inch stainless steel bull barrel A4 upper with free float tube to snap onto my lower with standard stock.  Should be a tack driver.

Koji Kraft used to come into the gun store I worked at and buy a bunch of shit.

Now he works at another local gun store.

Is that what pros do when they stop riding?  Sounds good.

THe market is so low, at least in the USA, you can build a quality AR for less than $800

If a lower is mil spec, its mil spec.  Give me a $65 blem spikes lower and throw a $3k upper on it and it will run just like a vltor/pof/etc.

Its all about the barrel, bolt carrier, feed ramps and head spacing.

Scratch that, id say ammo plays almost the biggest part.
