When I first started posting Phil called me out on my use of Internet shorthand and overall terrible grammar. After that, I got my shit together. At least I tried to.
That brutal comment saved me from looking dumber than I already do on the internet.
Who else was part of TAH? I remember Jasper, Phillip, A Guy. Was BMT part of it? Tree of knowledge (I think that was his name) Wasn't Merry part of it?
16 year old me thought these guys from Minot,ND were the fucking coolest dickheads around.

He was one of the originals. He returned with a slew of names, but was inevitably banned by letting down his guard or posting something that pissed off sheep. Anyone recall Brendan's BG name? He was also another early member. I believe it was Brent Webb who started TAH.

I thought runnah was awesome. He posted something like "hello, my name is reading comprehension, I don't think we've met" in a perfect time/place scenario at one point and it was probably the best thing I saw on here.

I was inducted and asked to be a mod about a month after. Not Danny Tanner was another dude that was in there I haven't heard from in forever. I still talk to Zach (Nobody) from time to time. Chris W aka SBB was in there and I still talk to and hang out with him on the regular. Charlie Crumlish was up in there too. I was in after meeting a bunch of them at Metro in Toronto one year. Frentsworth and I tried meeting up to blaze one in the parking garage but our ships passed in the night.
The quote in my signature is a Maurice Snail original that I found in my "Should he be in TAH" thread in the TAH forum.
edit: Also, back in the day there was a TAH forum and a separate mod forum. Any mods that tried posting in the TAH forum who weren't TAH got ridiculed to no end. I remember Bluebmx and BNP specifically getting lambasted.

TAH was awesome. When I got banned for ragging on BPN a bunch of those dudes (and guys from the Penthouse) helped me try to sneak back in. Good times.

BPN moved to Austin with one of my buddies from back in the day, and tom dugan before he was hot shit. The story i got was they had bill problems and tom had a bullshit job (goofy mini golf vids he used to post). Bpn flipped out, blamed tom for the problems they were having and moved to Michigan I think it was. Never saw another post on here from him after that.

Things are pretty alright for me. I moved to Boulder, CO a year ago and just relocated to Denver. Life out here is much slower than it was at home. I just totaled another car so nothing has changed in that department. I believe that was my 14th car in 12 years (not all due to wrecks).
I work at a tech company write now splitting my time between support and content writing. It's nice to be out of the service industry but I miss the social aspect.
Not to completely sidetrick the thread (someone make another if ya please), but how has everyone been?

BPN wasn't all that bad. He was a bit rigid at times but dude was about bikes. I kind of imagine BPN wanting to reply back to all this but since that would require him to break the rules and make a new username, he's just sitting there fuming.

Nah he was cool, he worked at a local bike shop and laced me up 2 different wheels for free, just because I rode and there weren't many of us around (none now).

Parting the curtain a bit.. BPN was never really banned, at least not by an admin or sheep. He basically rage quit after he had a bunch of his bans overturned by a bunch of us. Like, he could ban someone and I could go remove it and if I'm not mistaken only sheep could see who did what. The problem was BPN was overly strict with the rules and also targeted people who tormented him. Those people happened to also be in TAH usually so he'd ban them, one of us would unban them and he'd get pissed. Someone banned BPN at one point, I can't remember who or for what but I think he called Sheep on the phone about it. I do remember witnessing the thread in the mod forum where sheep more or less refused to take sides in the feud and that made BPN quit.

Ha. Forgot about that one. Nah, can't say I've done anything quite like that lately. Life has slowed down significantly since I moved. I did get some middle-aged jack offs kicked out of a hotel after pissing on all of their stuff a few months back though.

It's a shame Paulie and Jame$ stopped posting, I remember getting absolutely ruined by them when I first signed up, then eventually getting some nods of agreement once I wound my neck in.

It's hard to find all the old threads in the TAH/penthouse area as Sheepdog went back to an old backup of the forum when he redid everything recently. Paulie or I might have had something to do with it as we were the only ones with Admin power. I only came back on here to see if anyone had posted about coming up to Vancouver this summer as a ton of people have been through town lately and was surprised to see how much had changed. Prior to February I hadn't been on for like 2-3 years.
It's a sad shame this place is kinda dead now. Social media has replaced the forum for most things, this place was fun in it's hey day.

I'm getting a bit too nostalgic here (few beers might have something to do with it). Does anyone remember runnah claiming he had robbed a store and shot someone? As I recall someone with the same name in his hometown did it and he just went with it.
I remember Philip posting a video of Arcade Fire when no one had heard of them and thinking he was so fucking cool.
Paulie once sent me a private message asking where to find hookers and blow in Helsinki. I had to explain him that I was 16,
lived in the countryside hundreds of km from Helsinki and that there basically are no hookers in Finland.
The photo forum used to freaking amazing as well. Like actually really good.
I once got a few letters on Charlie Crumlish in a b.i.k.e. game (when there was a whole forum dedicated to it). I remember doing an icepick stall on a quarter, where I sat down on the seat and did a crankflip.
