I have no reason to run anything other than my Evo 2s. Low enough, more than stiff enough, high quality.

Wow. Just wow.

I think this is the first bike I would actually trade my T-1 for.

Where is it for sale

This.

I don't think a single entity outside of Eclat has one yet.

Even then, I still have a solid "meh" opinion of it.

I've never stripped a black magic coated part, but the Odyssey Lumberjacks I stripped took freaking forever with aircraft stripper. At least 6 coats of the stuff and lots of scraping.

Also, this. The sound effects are annoying at best.

It's available in the US as well, just a different link. I tried it but I think I'm too used to Pumped so it just didn't feel right for me.

i wish i could but anything below 18 inches is considered restricted in canada and can only be brought to the range, only reason i bought the xcr is so i could bring it anywhere unlike my AR, that 18.6 barrel is long though.

Wow, that's a goofy law. I can't have SBRs in WA state either though. :(

SBR's are legal in Washington now.   8)

Wait what? When did that happen? I've been away from the firearm scene for a bit...

Is there actually a structural benefit of that TT/CS junction design?

Very much yes.

what style mounts do fbm use? the s&m style ones with the really long bolt are good. the ones where the mount screws in first then the brake screws into the mount are not so good

They are similar. The base is curved to match the CS tube, and there is a long bolt that runs through it that also tightens the brake spring cap. I got higher grade bolts that were coated (phosphate?), then Teflon taped the threads and the shank of the bolt inside the mount. Those changes seemed to take out some of the flex and now they feel great.
