is it still a thing? i was looking around to find a Tunnel frame. No such luck, website has been under construction for almost a year now.
-
i know they were available thru the animal site for a while but upon looking find they're sold out.
:(
-
Didn't they just do a 'Chocolate Truck' frame?
-
I heard they were just going to do clothes again. But im probably wrong.
-
Think their just having some down time they released a frame not that long ago(chocotruck)

Edwin is on a cult kit so who knows

Edwin on Cult would actually be pretty sweet. Their team is mostly awesome, not that I'd buy any of their brown-bagged shit. Can't wait for the next Animal video.

the only dude cool enough to start a company, get a following, then say "ah, fuck it." and switch to another with no repercussions.
haha. edwin is so hood...reminds me of him and vic ayala standing in the food line in that one props they were on.
"well, we hungry too."
-
Isn't it technically Vinny's company via Animal (but in the same way that Sunday was Jim C's via Odyssey)? Ed and Tom just had frames (and I suppose some commission on them).
The frame market is so over saturated anyway that I think it would be such of a hassle to keep it going.
-
The limited run stuff that fbm does for them is cool and probably a better idea anyway for two guys who don't want the hassle of running a bike company

This is like hearing that one of your childhood heroes got raped.

Why? Their parts are decent, their team is stacked with great riders with personality, what do you want more? Rape would mean for me that Edwin would be on Hyper or some shit like that.
-
yeah, like that time taj switched onto
DK giant

I'm not a fan of Robbie and most Cult parts are pretty shit.

oops ^^ i try not to think about it :-\
and i dont know, guys. i think its just an old man thing to hate on cult. i didn't like them at first either, but for the most part their frames aren't any different than the other guys.
you see the new butter frame comes in at 5.4lbs? how awesome is that?
and their hub is just the old primo mix everyone goes on about.
ive had good luck so far. despite the image.
-
I don't really get it. Edwin on Cult doesn't even seem like much of a stretch. I'm mostly just bummed that Skavenger frames aren't a thing anymore.
Taj on Giant, however....
-
Fuck it, Cult is cool in my book. Who can hate on Neal Wood and Joe Vee?
-
Definitely doesn't seem like a huge stretch. He did ride for/with a bunch of those guys when on Fit. Also doesn't affect or bother me in the slightest what parts/frames others ride. His riding is what I enjoy.
Mostly bummed if Skavenger isn't doing well. Seemed like a fun project for those guys.

dk did hook taj up with an SOB and a general lee around the time RF1 was being filmed, i think you can see sheps make fun of his castillo bars inside trend and it's in that scene. i know what you mean though, taj leaving t1 was high drama for us bmxers. it was like "WHAT...WHAT DO YOU MEAN...JOE AND TAJ GOT DIVORCED? THEY WOULDN'T! WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS?!?!"
