Naw, don't have the time to get out to the track really. Seems like every time I'm home, there aren't any track days going on. Usually miss them by a week. Also seems like I'm doing more wrenching than driving.

Went to get an alignment on Saturday, and the fucking mechanics told me that they couldn't fix my camber, because my LCAs wouldn't adjust enough (Right rear is at -4.6* and left rear is at -2.7*, I wanted -2*). I laughed at them and said that I wouldn't be paying the full amount then since they didn't do a full alignment. They then proceeded to tell me that I wouldn't get my keys back if I didn't. Oh well, at least my rear toe is fixed up. Eyeballing it, it looked to be around 2* toe in, super squirrelly driving it around. Looks like I'm going to have to go to a legit performance shop to get my camber dealt with.

New PBM lower control arms this weekend. Got the rear end sitting nicely now, and still have an 3/4" lower to go if I wanted to.

Hugh, noticed your lack of Instagram updates for the past couple days. Sorry to hear that man.

Anybody have experience with Stance or Powered by Max parts? Looking for some new LCAs to drop the rear more, but pretty undecided between the two.

Holy shit. Nothing quite like watching someone's face slide across the ground like that. That angle is a lot better at showing how bad that was...

I think it's a ratio. Like 6mg/15ml, 12mg/15ml and so on. Although I'd argue with non smokers getting into it, there's probably just as big a market for selling to people who want zero nicotine.

Edit: upon further research, the nicotine is measured per ml. So it's 6mg of nicotine to 1ml of liquid.

I've looked into buying liquid online, but it's tough for me, since I'm rarely home. Also, I'm not sure if it's legal to do in Canada now after the recently passed law. Maybe I can buy from Canadian companies, but I doubt I'd be able to "import" it. I'm perfectly content with picking up the liquid wherever I'm at. Although, 120mL for $20 bucks sounds amazing. I think I spent like 32 bucks on 30mL yesterday, but it is by far the best juice I've tried.

Everything I've read about the eleaf is that it's good. The only thing that may cause an issue is using it while it's charging, or using too low a resistance coil and shorting it.

Looked into mech mods, and I think I could easily build one myself. Just need to figure out the ratio of #of coils to resistance. From what I've seen so far, it seems like 5 coils will give you between .5 and .7 ohms, but before I get into that, I want to start doing some rebuilds on coils. Right now, it's just really convenient for me to use the prebuilt coils given the amount of travelling I do.

Also, I've noticed such an improvement in taste since upgrading to the subtank and istick. That and the cooler hits are making it really enjoyable.

I think the point he was making is that you're getting invested in it which generally means you're not viewing it as a means to an end. Now you've spent money on something that was supposed to be a short/temporary thing to quit smoking meaning you're less likely to quit altogether.

As for being unsure why non-smokers vape, same reasons non-smokers start smoking. You were a non-smoker once and started smoking cigs, why did you do it? Friends were doing it, thought it looked cool, just loved having things in your mouth and sucking on them?

I also think vaping is becoming more popular because you can burn hash with some of them and also get "juice" with THC in it. So you can toke in public and look like you're not. Plus it's acceptable to do inside bars so you can still look cool to the ladies sucking that robot penis.

You're assuming quite a bit about my situation with using a vapourizer. I invested money in it to keep me wanting to use one while I keep off smoking. I tried cold turkey, that didn't work. I tried using the patch, that didn't work. I tried using the gum, that didn't work. I've found a solution that works for me.

I started smoking because I was a young, impressionable 18 year old, and a lot of people I was friends with smoked. It was also a way to get out of doing work with the military. And yeah, throw a thinly veiled gay joke in there, super cool, brah.

No where that I've been to lets you use a vape indoors. In fact, a bill just passed in Ontario (Maybe even Canada, haven't heard too much about it) that regulates it just as much as it does cigarettes and other tobacco products. They've even banned flavoured tobacco. Don't need to look cool for the ladies, since my lady is totally supportive of me in my efforts to kick smoking to the curb.

Not claiming that it's completely healthy, but it's better than smoking.

Hugh, the only reason I spent that much money on one was for the availability of parts, went with some more popular brands that I can buy stuff for anywhere. The store I was in yesterday, the guy had a vape that he was about 300 into, and his wife had one that she was about 250 in to. But, they were both ex smokers, and they were super pumped when I told them I'd stopped smoking for a while now, and were very eager to help me out with getting something quality together.

There's a lot of different factors when it comes to vapes, and it all depends on how involved you want to get in it. The smaller, cheaper ones I found didn't have a big enough tank, the battery didn't last long enough and the airflow wasn't enough. The second one I had, was a bit better, still a very small tank, but thee battery and the airflow was better. The new one I have, the battery will last a few days, the tank will last hours and hours and the airflow is amazing. To me, it was worth it to spend that much compared to the amount of money id be spending on smokes.

Still not sure why people who aren't smokers got into using vapourizers.

I've never even attempted to do it anywhere public, or in someone else's house. I treat it basically like smoking when I'm outside of my house or vehicle. Unless it explicitly states that it's cool to vape somewhere, I just take it to a designated smoking area.

Also, that's hilarious that people are willing to trade a bike for one. I think I paid like 120ish for what I got, it's not a whole lot of money if you're actually a smoker. It kind of boggles my mind that people pick it up as a hobby.

Yeah man, I am that guy. Sorry for trying to bring some more conversation to this board since there's like 5 threads over 2 pages long since the purge. Sorry for sharing a positive change I've made in my life, that I'm sure other members on here want to make as well. No wonder sheep gave up on this place. I'll be sure to just keep posting in the car threads and the occasional hate thread. Cheers m8.

Well, I started using a vape a few months ago, but never really used it often. It was more something I kept with me while playing video games and I could use until the guys I played with agreed to go on a smoke break. About 2 months ago, my girlfriend really started bugging me to stop smoking. She took me to a vape shop she went to when she would get her e-juice. I got a starter kit and used it on and off for a bit, the juice I ended up going with didn't taste the greatest. A few weeks after that, I started on a new project with work, and smoking became VERY inconvenient, so i went back to that shop and picked up a bunch of different flavours. It was great, I wasn't smoking at all (This is 3.5 weeks ago). A couple weeks ago, I was in a new shop that just opened around the corner from the girlfriends house and the guy working there talked me into buying a new vape. After trying it out, it was amazing. Good, easy draw on it, great flavour.

However, after using that for about 2.5 weeks, I needed to replace the coils on it. After 3 cities, 5 different stores, I wasn't able to find anywhere that sold the coils. So today, I went out and got a new, higher end set-up. Holy shit, it is amazing. I figured with the money I'd saved by not smoking (About 400 bucks over the past 2 months), it was justifiable to splurge a bit on a set-up that could keep me off smoking. I talked with the shop keepers for about 10 minutes at the store, they answered the few questions I had and walked out of the store pretty stoked on what I had purchased.

For those of you who vape and may be interested in what I got, I grabbed a Kangertech Subtank Mini and an eLeaf 30W battery. They're good for between .5 ohm and 1.5 ohm resistance coils. The Subtank comes with a .5 and a 1.2 ohm coil, but so far I've only used the .5 ohm coil. It also comes with a rebuildable coil, but I haven't got into that yet, need to grab some tools to be able to do that. I also picked up two flavours of liquid, one is cinnamon funnel cake and the other is strawberry cheesecake and both are made by Beard Vape Co. and are 6mL of nicotine. Unfortunately they didn't have any 0 nicotine, but oh well.

Still trying to figure out the ideal settings for me with the coils and the variable power on the battery. So far I'm pretty happy with the .5 coil and 18W on the battery with the largest air opening for the tank.

So BG, do you vape? What are you using?

Work is picking up and we have several new clients/projects on the horizon. Looking forward to getting back the $15000 pay cut I took earlier.

The inspector overseeing a project I'm currently working on just took a 10% pay cut, probably doesn't equal out to what you lost, but it's still a significant amount. It's funny to see so many projects getting shit canned, but for what I do, we get weekly email updates saying that more and more work has come in. Although government mandates, and being the only company in the world who does this stuff sure helps.
