I know they haven't been out for an incredibly long time, but for anyone that has them, what's your thoughts? I wouldn't mind one of the blue ones on my bike if they grip well all around. Thanks.
-
I like them and they wear like iron.
-
am i the only one who thinks the squeeking thing is annoying?
it was cool before everyone realized it just depends what kinda tires you run.
GLH for life!
they do look cool tho
-
I'll add that after the first ride they don't squeak.
-
bastards!!!!

That's a good thing to me. Cool!
-
I cant wait to get another pair. My sunday tires cant handle the burrs.
-
lots of people here have them, in the heat theres been a few complaints that coloured tyres arent so grippy, but if youre not riding in 40+ degrees celcius it should be ok. the blue ones look cool, not too bright

Good to know, since I live in Florida I ride in up to about 32C. Might be an issue.
-
I've heard they roll really fast.
-
Don't get coloured tyres. They always look disgusting. Get rubens.

Anyproblems with the black versions slipping in the heat?
-
nah, i dont know anyone with the black ones though, its the grey and blue ones that are super popular. even black tyres dont grip so good in this kind of heat, especially on slippery anti graffiti painted parks, its annoying as fuck
-
I had grey ones at the park and did not experiexpeiernce much slipping at the park the few times i went with those tires and this was during a summer az morbing where it was in the upper 80s. The black ones grip everything. I only slipped once with them and that was due to trying to make a 90 degree turn on a smooth wet piece of sidewalk to avoid going through the muddy grass. Other than that they are one of myfavorite tires. They can endure thorns like a mother fucker.

Good to know, thanks.

"We…wanted something with a simple, low profile tread and most importantly with a mega squeak."
I would avoid purely because of this reasoning.
-
They sound super gay
-
They are great tires, bsd is solid. *they dont squeek

REAL TALK

as far as coloured tyres, the grey and blue ones are decent looking i think cos theyre not too bright. once youve got some dust on them, the colouring is subtle. of course in the uk theyd look like toys r us kiddie bike tyres as soon as they get wet
yellow/gum ones are still ming

I've heard they don't squeak if you run decent pressure.
-
Just bringing this back to leave my review after riding them a few times, although the temperature has only been up to the low 80s. They gripped excellent and I'm very happy they do not make a peep, but I only run them at 65psi front and 75pso rear.
