Embarrassingly I have only ever run one tire the Salt Pitch Raw, off my first ever complete bike (WTP Trust 2010). I got that bike in late 2009 so 5+ years now. Man I need a new tire.

Such a handsome bike!

I have had the key-chain for about 6 months, love it, but creaks a bit when bedding in if you have ridden another chain for a while. Its silent now and feels very solid. For the record its the hollow pin version.

A load of tee-shirts, a nice wallet, vouchers and lots of chocolate

A chair with 3 legs doesn't fall over, and when you stop thinking about chairs and think about drivers it also means that the driver tends to "self centre" between those 3 pawls, spreading the load as evenly as possible and reducing stress and wear.

Girlfriend asked what I was reading. Tried explaining this concept to her. She thought about it long and hard, and asked 'what if all the legs were in the middle, and I sat on the edge? the chair would fall over'

What do you say to that G.

I am sorry if you are having problems, how many times have you had this happen? If you in any way think that your chain may be faulty then please contact warranty and we will be very happy to look at it. If you have previously ordered a masterlink kit then I would have thought we could sort something out or cut you a deal on the next one.

The keychain has been in development for a very very long time, and generally speaking we have seen very very few JRA type incidents, there are no modifications or V2's in the works. (though we are looking at doing slightly longer ones for non-BMX use).

I hope this sounds reasonable.

:)
G.

Honestly, I had no problems with it up until now. I don't ride pegs, and ride a full guard sprocket. It was literally out of the blue and I can't exactly pinpoint which failed, the master-link or the link next to it. ..... the threads on the master-link pin completely sheared off

Exactly the same thing happened to mine, on the half-link as well. Never ride pegs, and broke out of the blue. The thread on the master link has completely sheared off as well. This hasn't happened to the full link though which I have been running since then with no issues.

Would love to see a 4 pawl design on the new G-sport rear hub, or a driver for a Ratchet with an extra pawl

Brought mine when it came out (cost a fortune to ship from america to the UK), been running it at the trails every day. It snapped the other day due to user error, because I am a complete idiot I put the thing the wrong way round. The master link became unscrewed and it snapped pretty dramatically. Used the half link (installed correctly) and its running sweet now.

But yeah, make sure to put the thing on the right way round.
did you got if from empire?if so you should have emailed them they have super cheap postage options

No, if I remember right they were sold out so I got it from somewhere else. Good to know about the Empire thing though, is it significantly cheaper?
