Title: Just about to swap from PC to MAC

Don't use BikeGuide to talk about torrents.

If you want information about the other topics this thread was about, post them in the correct forum and leave out any mention of torrents.

Three roommates of mine have macbook (pro)'s and they all download from torrentwebsites. This shouldn't be a problem and a quick google will help you out.

The macbooks do have a miniDV(I?) output it is called I think. You can buy all kind of converting cables to hook this up to a monitor/screen at the apple store. Check the online apple store.

If your getting a macbook you'll need an adaptor which plugs into a video-out socket, you wont with a pro.

I use a torrent client called transmission, its sound - i think there is a mac version of utorrent in the works though.

You'll need to get a mac version of reason etc too, but I guess you already know this.. and i'd go for max ram too.
