In all seriousness, it's a shitty optical illusion that can be explained by your ability/inability to resolve colour in bright or dim scenarios.

someone at work showed me this earlier, for sure thought it was black and blue.
just clicked this thread and saw it in gold and white, tripped me out a bit.
scrolled down to read the replies and scrolled back up, and it turned black and blue for me again.

weird shit, man...

In the original photo it's gold and either light blue or white. Not sure what black has to do with anything

Well, when I first seen it, it was 100% white and gold and then about an hour later it's 100% black and blue on the same same screen and lighting conditions. it's still black and blue for me.

Sounds like you're just mad because you see it the wrong color. It blew my mind because when I saw it change color because it was so drastic, not just a subtle color difference.

I looked at it as soon as I turned my computer on and it was black and blue. After a few hours staring at the screen I opened it up again and it was white and gold. RODS AND CONES YO.

Almost every dress I have ever seen has been much the same... opaque. The very few I have seen that don't fit this bill have been the memorable ones, but I still couldn't tell you the colours...
