Title: Stranger Ballast
Post by: Fundamental on June 07, 2015, 02:01:04 PM
So stoked on this ride.  It's built up using parts I already had and some internet buy & trade deals.
The bike itself is a little heavier than what I rode previously, but it rides 'light' and is super solid.  I especially like the classic look with the tall head tube, tall stand over, and faux open drop outs.

I really dig it that color ;). It's awesome seeing another Stranger with brakes.

Thanks all!

Yup, I saw your bike, then looked up the frame specs and had to do it.  This bike is how I like 'em, railed seat, metal pedals, brakes.

I'm not sure about that tall head tube but this bike is super cool.

The taller head tube was a concern, and my initial set up was with a top load, like I normally run, but it turned out being too high.
With the front load and 10mm spacer, the height is perfect and I can run the fork uncut.
