M8x1.25
-most overseas stems
-primo pinchbolts
Any metric stem I've used was size 6, not 8.
-
Nope, you have always used a 6mm wrench. That has nothing to do with the threads. A G-Sport uses a 9/16" wrench, but has 3/8" threads.
I didn't realize M8 was the thread, I thought it was the size of the bolt like the imperial ones listed before it. So is the 1.25 the length of the bolt then?

Anyone know the measurements for Thomson elite seat post and elite road stem.
thanks.
*edit: Stem face are M5x18mm and the steer tube are M5x21mm

Kenny, hate to correct you, but I know for a fact that the RNC bolts are 3/8"-16tpi. Why? Because I ran them in my mini front hub for about 6 months.
I know for a FACT that the RNC cranks I WAS RUNNING before I bought Wombolts used a 5/16-18 thread in each end of the spindle. As with most small companies, a running change is completely possible. They may have changed this up considering the heads on the 5/16-18 bolts pulled off of the thread. The broach was too deep on the ones I had, and the 3/16" broach intersected with the minor diameter of the thread.
I know this because I had to shorten my spindle, remill the square and drill/tap the thread deeper on one side. I also used one of my stem bolts when I had to tighten the cranks since both of the spindle bolts broke, as mentioned above.
There was nothing wrong with the spindle length, however if you remember, I faced the back of the arms so I needed to shorten the spindle. I wanted a smaller Q-Factor.
Anyways, long story short, mine were 5/16-18, yours were 3/8-16.

What's the threading on a star fangled nut? One like this (http://www.danscomp.com/309015.php?cat=PARTS), incase there is two sizes.

bearing for 19mm spindle.
Spanish bottom brackets use modified 6904's
The 22mm spindle version is 20mmx37mmx9mm
The "19mm" is .750"x37mmx9mm
Reason I put 19mm in "" is because it isn't 19mm. It uses a .750" (3/4") ID, not 19mm. Profile cranks and the like are not 19mm. They are 3/4". Do not get the two confused, they are not compatable.
.750" = 19.05mm
0.05mm = .002"
In terms of bearing/spindle fit .002" is wayyyyyyy too much press.
Id your bearing was in reality 19mm your spindle wouldn't fit unless it was made .002" undersize, which is highly unlikely.
So to answer your question, the bearing you are looking for is a modified 6904 with a 3/4" ID. You won't find this anywhere but at a bike shop.
-
The Tree H10 headset cap is the same thread as the freestyle starnut... It is also the same thread used on S&M/Fit forks.
M10x1.25
-
22mm MID bearing isn't an off the shelf bearing. You're only going to find them at bike shops.
They are based off the R12 bearings which is 3/4" x 1-5/8" x 7/16" IDxODxW respectively.
22mm MID bearings are 22mm x 1-5/8" x 7/16"

Thanks man. I will try to keep posting stuff over the year ( a lot this week). I just have to creep around my old hard drive and see what I am able to post. I almost wish I still had my bike so I could rip off some more random bearing sizes and information.....
-
What bolt size is the grub screw in a lucky bolt?
-
TSUP,
Do you guys know the Spindle Bolt info for the Fly Cranks?
-
I'm really just wondering if any bluesix bolts would fit the spindle?
-
doesn't look like it.

Boourns I say!

Fit/S&M Gyro Tab. The bold that come with it that threads into the frame is M4x.7
-
The gsport ratchet runs on two 6904s. Not that anyone needs to know since I am pretty sure I am the only person to blow those things out.

i thought you run a coaster

big up myself

I go back and forth as my coaster ends up out of commission every month or so when the bearings die.

Gsport Homers use 14mm bolts, correct?
Edit: Bolts that fit into a 14mm dropout slot

Nope, 9/16" which is like 14.2875. But they should fit in most places a 14mm bolt would.
-
Thank you.
I saw Homers laced to Ribcages for $89 on Dan's.
-
any one know the size and tpi for drilling and tapping a frame for removable gyro mounts?

-
I'm not sure this belongs on here, but I would like to know if a 16t Shimano freewheel will fit a rear Homer. Thanks
-
Homers used to be available in both small (metric, for going down to 13t) and large (SAE? for 16+ freewheels) threads. If yours is one of the newer (Taiwan) hubs, then no, it won't work.
-
Ohh, yeah I bet it's a Taiwanese because I ordered it from the Odyssey Online store, thanks for the info
-
Can anyone tell me the size for a Fly lever? Not the pivot bolt.
-
M10 x 1.5mm is also Primo cranks' sprocket bolt
-
Hoffman Solemate corner pins/nuts: M4 x 0.7mm (default/coarse thread for M4)
-
anyone know if any bluesix bolt fits the eclat tibia spindle?
my friend stripped the stock one first go derp.
x
-
Fly gyro tabs M3 x 0.5mm
-
Anyone happens to know the number of the needle bearing that goes in the odyssey 9t drivers?
-
proper microlite front hub bolts? (https://02c2332.netsolstores.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1551&strVarSel=7553)
3/8"x24tpi or 10x1mm?
-
I want to convert my hub from 3/8 (or 10mm) to 14mm.
My hub uses 6000LS bearings which are apparently 10mm I.D. 26mm O.D. 8mm width.
Do I have any bearing options without modification?
-
http://www.google.com/#q=15mm+x+26mm+x+8mm+bearing
A slightly narrower bearing could work if you take up the space to keep the spacing at 100mm
You also need a 14mm axle with the bearing shoulders the distance apart as your 3/8" axle's ones are
-
Since I can't find anything on Round Wheels anymore I'd have to have my axle measured but I think I know a machine shop I could have that done at..
From what I'm getting of that Google link, the bearing size I am wanting does not exist, so you're suggesting I find a slimmer width and take up the extra space Profile style (shims)?

Could that be my best bet? and just use a 1mm shim/washer on either side outbound of the bearing?
I assume that the dimensions are correct since it doesn't seem to provide which MM is the I.D./O.D./Width? which I'm just guessing are specified in that order on all bearings.
Anything I should look for to find the most durable bearing I can get?
