Built this up. Original Standard freecoaster shell with Suntour Internals and a Nankai 16T cog.



It just needs a few more mods (brake arm removed, homemade un-brake adjusted) and a Standard 24tpi axle then it will be laced and put on my Shorty.

Finally finished this. A throw back to 1996.


Starting working on this. Removed about 30 random stickers and starting marking all of the dents that will need repaired.


Also finished building up my wife's new frame. Thanks to Blue Streak for the great deal on the 125R cruiser frame!

Chris sold me some Standard forks and some Primo pegs for a really good price. SUPER fast shipping, the stuff got here in one day!

Chrome forks with 990 mounts?  How so, what forks are those?

They are old Standard forks, from 1995ish.

Holy shit. I wanted one of those so badly back in the day. Isn't there something funny about the seat tube?

It has the same seat tube that they use on the 125R frames. So you have to use a 27mm post, but it still uses a 28.6mm (1-1/8") seat clamp.

I picked this up earlier this year in a trade deal. It was in rough shape (a few layers of paint, dents, brake mounts cut-off, etc.) So I sent it to Standard and had the mounts replaced, then my brother-in-law fixed some dents and painted it the shop he works at.

Original color, Ford Dark Highland Green.
