The forums having a plugin for mobile access? I'm on here on my Windows Mobile device using Opera, and BG is gigantic!

i know there was a thread about it a while ago but i couldnt find it...

I was working on it, but as I started they released an update.
Plus, now the company making the forum is talking about building it in on the next release. So it is coming, i am just not sure when.

Like the title says, after this month the price goes up.

Current rate is $30 for one month, $150 for 6, $300 for 12 months locked in while you still can. You can pay now and advertise later if you like many have done this.

Hey Sheep, how come we don't have tons of smilies? I see a lot of forums have tons of options, but not BG. I guess that's just the way you want it.

Just have not added any.
Most people do not seem to care.

Those of you considering it should consider doing so now.

As of New Years I will be increasing the rate a bit as they are significantly undervalued and have never been raised since the early days of BG. If you would like to pay ahead of time to lock in at the current rate that is fine as well. You would not be the first.

The rates even after a hike will still not only be undervalued, as I see it as a benefit to small manufacturers, but also be VERY far below what a magazine will charge you.

Pm or email me for rates (my username at bikeguide). They will not be posted here. Discounts available for multiple month purchases.

You can give and take rep as you please.


HOWEVER!
Try and keep the swearing down in the comments as you never know how old the person is you are repping.

i have been here for over a year, have over 2500 points, and have a 0 and a red box. i don't get this system.

And once you hit possitive rep, you will be able to hand some out.

So if you need 300 reputation points to give rep, how can anyone give it initially if we all start at 10?

because right now, you only need +1, not 300.
I had to lower it to get the system started since no one had 300.

what if some guy who has enough rep power. doesnt like one member. and uses all the negative rep points on him to ban him. is that possible?

also, do those numbers applying to bg only count as of the time you started counting the rep points again. because many people have clearly been here for over 30 days. and haven't gained rep power.

There is only so much a few people can really do to someone.

It would take 50 of your rep power points and 3 days, just to give someone 5 points. Even with 5 people, you are talking a combined 250 points, to hand someone 25 points.

Do the math, it was designed this way for a reason.

The number next to the boxes is your rep power. How much you have to hand out.
The boxes represent your actual reputation.
