Its a 58cm. Im 6'2" and its got a 110mm stem on it. Took it out for an hour and a half this evening. My back wheel popped out pulling away from a junction. Could have sworn I'd tightened it up. Other than that its been fine. Hit a pot hole coming down a hill and nearly shit myself.

Tom, mine had the proper guide things. So the outer cables but up against the stops in the frame and only the inners go through the frame. They included some guide things that let outers through but obvs didn't use those.

Going to pick up a 105 group set over summer along with some deep drop bars. Thinking the fizik ones.

Its a FM011. Bought via eBay. £310 posted and then £33 at customs.

In Chemilé now. Should be in Poitiers by tomorrow. Got a guided tour in broken English of a bike shop in Azé yesterday. Dude had a load of cool bikes from the 70-90s. Some sweet Italian steel in there! Including a nice AWD mountain bike. No photos allowed though :(

Super glad I went with downtube shifters instead of bar end ones. Keep smashing bar ends off stuff lol. No mechanical failures yet though!

Sounds good! How much wine have you drank?

Some muesli mixed with shreddies and a banana. Maybe some green tea. Then I get my kit together and go so about 20 minutes. Over 30 miles and I'll bring food with me. Afterwards I'll stuff my face like I've never eaten before. I have a high 5 carb/protein mix drink when I'm out.

^ those fabric saddles are mega nice.

Picked up some Sportful R&D bib shorts a few weeks ago. They feel nice on the legs. Haven't taken them on a long ride yet though. Ordered the chinese frameset in the end. Expected delivery 24th of march - 14th of april. Going to get a set of Jagwire cables nearer the time. Feel a bit silly putting mostly Claris on it...

Once PayPal sorts out my account I'll be ordering a frameset.

Hugh, you got picture of your surly? How long is it going to take you to get Italy?

More of a question. I crashed and broke my bike. The steerer(alu) is bent and some paint under the ht DT junction has come off. I think it might be bent.

Thinking of this eBay job http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/201207664564?nav=SEARCH
