Even if I play around on one for a while, I still feel like I can't get any leverage to bunnyhop with any height. Tall bars with a long back end seems to be the way to go for me.

Answering both:
I'm 6'-0" with a 6'-4" armspan... Literally ape arms... So I get a lot of leverage on the front end of a BMX. The longer frame seems to even that out for this bike and I can comfortably ride it like I want to.
