What kind of grease should I use?  WD 40 ruins sealed bearings, and regular grease is as think as marshmallow. Any recommendations?

uurrghhhh wd 40 is not grease, only use that stuff for cleaning old grease and gunk out before you add fresh stuff

I use Park tools grease

Greased it up and so far it sounds like the harsh clicking noise has stopped.

Thank you.

However, when I greased it, the slack moved all the way back to its original position. I had it tightened up to feel more like a cassette.

Why did it move without loosening it?
