Will Odyssey ever make 10 tooth drivers for the Clutch FC?

(1/3) > >>

Cmb4130:
I know everyone will chime in and say it shouldn't make a difference, but I've been running a 10 tooth for the past eight years or so and I can't stand running the 9 tooth. It puts way too much pressure on the chain (being that the rear cog pulls so hard on the rear wheel) and it's impossible to get the chain alignment right without a half link, also rendering the whole rear setup weaker.

9 tooth + half link= going over handle bars.

I love 10-27 gearing and feel much more comfortable knowing that I'm not putting 500-plus pounds of pressure on the smallest point of my rear cog every time I pedal uphill.

I would like to 2nd this request.

I doubt Odyssey will do it, but I would love it so I can do 25/10 on my cruiser.

dude...:
unless 10t suddenly replaced 9t as an industry standard i would say not.

good luck persuading them theres enough demand for a small run as well, they learnt their lesson when bg pushed for 20" sunday frames and they had to sell them all off for peanuts on their website

JFax:
Kind of make it sound like all 9t need half links. Depends on what CS length you are running.
