Misleading Amazon ad for G-Sport Birdcage Simian Front Wheel

<< < (2/2)

Cellmember:
The people selling that item and giving that excuse is complete bullshit, am I correct in assuming you can actually change the title, description and photo's on Amazon just like on eBay or any other selling site, I'd be shocked if it can't be changed.

Plus look at the retail price which has been marked down from the price of a complete wheel, this seller is definitely trying to pull a fast one and seems to be working for now.

Dr. Steve Brule:
Yeah that is completely misleading. Fault lies with the seller here. Picture, weight, description and original price are all wrong.

Danno:
I wrote a response thinking that you had ordered it but re-read it and realised it was just comments from elsewhere. It will be related to the product data that they send to Amazon, it happens to me at work with the Google Shopping page whereby our submitted data is perfect but they advertise ridiculously cheap prices. Fortunately in our case it links through to our site where they see the correct price, but I imagine Amazon works differently and you don't go through to the stores own website. I'm surprised they didn't pull the product after the first message!

cmc4130:
They responded today (after my second e-mail).

"Hello,

We are currently in the process of permanently removing the listing.

Thanks,
Cyclingpros"

DontcallmeKenneth:
we sell some items in house from other vendors but some items ship direct from vendors and just use the amazon site to sell items.
