Beards help, as does a good knit hat. If I don't warm up properly, riding in the cold sucks. Source: I live above 7000 ft in Wyoming.

metalbmxer:
Dans usually has a few good choices of cold weather riding gloves

Thermal long sleeve shirts

Beanie

Warm shoes

Dressing in layers

It's important to keep the extremities warm like hands, feet and head since that is where the body is most susceptible to outside temps.

ediotism:
i wear those underarmour type tights underneath, wear softpads (basically those neopene things with padding), comfy gloves and have a warm flask of tea.

actually i don't, it's still fucking 28'c (about 83'f) where i am when november is almost here. flipflops and budgie smuggler it is.
