Pedals

<< < (3/7) > >>

LukeTom:
I have the Fatality Pedals, which are pretty much exactly the same as the premiums. They have held up really good still pretty much perfect after 2 years, and easy to find titanium spindles/pins if you are into that kinda stuff. Also I would recommend the fatalities over the premiums since they are cheaper by a fair way if I remember correctly.

RighteousBMX:
As mentioned, Premium pedals feel very flat. I'm currently running Ruben pedals which I love because of the concave but I too would like something a bit more slim. Hopefully the Dugan pedals fit the bill.

If you're into plastics at all then the Colony pedals feel slim, have a nice wide body and good concave to them.

Sasha:
The Premium pedals bend really easily because of the tiny spindle. Shame because they feel nice. The Eclat ones are crap, don't bother.

LukeTom:
+1 to the eclats being crap, mine fell apart pretty quick

The Outsider:
Really like how the Premium shape feels; big wide body, super thin, enough concave, light as hell. No bent spindles from riding em since last fall, but I'm a peg grinder.

For the sake of clarity, I picked up a set of the plastics on the cheap. They feel great, but $100 for a pair of metal pedals (BMX pedals are a relatively high wear part) is still extremely expensive. If you're going to pedal grind, definitely avoid them.

The lack of wrench flats is a bit of a hassle, but not a big deal. Makes it slightly harder using an 8mm Allen wrench, but installing them wasn't a deal breaker. I used the age old G-Sport advice and shouted, "STRENGTH OF A BEAR!" as I turned the 8mm and they went right on.
