I've got only 9l on it and just did the timing belt/water pump/all other belts. I love the truck so is it worthwhile?

Usually, no. Unless you have access to dirt cheap parts, lots of skilled labor, time, and a good space to do the work.

--- Quote from: BilboBaggins on April 20, 2015, 03:18:21 AM ---Only sometimes. For your situation probably not. Unless you want to somehow throw a divorced t-case and a small solid axle up front then it would be kind of cool. Or try to go about converting it using stock parts which would most likely cost you more than if you sold the rwd and got into a 4x4..

--- End quote ---

A ghetto solid axle swap is pretty much the worst way to go about it though.

The only worthwhile way on an Xterra would be to find a donor 4x4 rig that's a similar year and swap everything over.

Picked up new suspension and some Volks.  Ill start to linger around here more often.

Decided im going to try and flip this when im done with it. I still need a cleaner bottom portion of the back seat, a drivers seat, and sort out the wiring due to cut wires in the harness. Last thing will be paint. I want to get air suspension for my ls400 after it gets fixed. So this will fund that, or i will just sell it and buy a Q45, who knows.
