Prodigal, apparently the Michelin pilot sport 3 a/s are really good. I'm about to switch the Bridgestone Potenza re11's for them. Mostly because he Michelins have a 70000km warranty while the bridge stones have nothing because they're classified as an auto cross tire.
Prodigal Son:
Those were actually my other choice. ~$20 more/tire isn't a big deal.

Its always nice to fund a shop thats pretty welcoming. Im usually a little weirded out by approaching performance/specialty shops due to bad experiences with reputable shops. But this place was cool. Shop is busy but still was able to answer questions and wants to get the car on the lift thursday to see what needs to be done and see if what may need to be done can get.done differnetly to save me.money. but at this point i rrally wouldnt be mad if i had to drop $1400 on repairs.

Snagged this bitch on a whim today:
1970 F100 with F250 running gear, 8 lug all around, massive drums to match. Smooth running 302 w/ 4spd behind it. Patina for days.

lolz wut?
Opinions on most dependable/safe/easy to maintain car or wagon (also open to suggestions) under say $9,000? Would like it to be sort of roomy so would like to stay away from sub compact stuff. She has a 2002 honda accord coupe that's dookie right now and hates it.
Going to get my soon to be bride into something and we have the opportunity to buy outright because of some student loan fiasco with her culinary school. ~6k would be our own money.
