Had a couple friends convince me to start doing auto cross next summer. Sold my coils, put down a deposit on 720Form GTF1 wheels in 17x8, they weigh 15.5 pounds per wheel!!! Going to be getting some springs tomorrow, because boxing week. Then I'll have to look into class specific rules. I think I'll end up being in STX competing against cars that are substantially quicker, but I'm not expecting to do well in my first year racing anyhow.
Should be very fun.

Spent my last good check of the year on this Volvo. Only major issue is the power steering rack but i can drive without that shit. 2 of the tires were bad and I replaced one today. I will do the other tomorrow but I'm pretty happy with this car. I'll see what else I can do maintenance wise after I pay rent.
