New Random Thoughts Thread

Took my journeyman exam today. Have very mixed feelings about it. It's a very broad field (brand new trade, and it's only a trade in Alberta) so it's a TON of knowledge to know, but you generally only do one specific sub job in the broader spectrum of the trade...
Talking to my coworkers who have also written the exam, they also felt like they did terribly, but all ended up passing so that gives me hope.

I think the other tech here is quitting, which would leave me as the sole cementing lab tech in our company. In one year we went from 4 to potentially one.....on the bright side, if he leaves I'll have my own office!
