jonathan:
I wish I could do without those spacers but they designed the bike with a tiny head tube. because I am not a contortionist able to ride my bike with a bars dropped a foot below my saddle height, you will have to tolerate the presence of spacers.

MilkyWilky:
I finally got a bike to replace the Peugeout I had here in Switzerland. It got hit by a car while parked and mangled the frame and wheel.

Saw this beauty and had to take the chance at owning a slice of Swiss history. Built in Switzerland from Columbus tubing, legit old race bike. 1985 so far as I can tell, came with the original registration card and a pair of leather crochet gloves. Very legit. All Shimano 600 Arabesque components, but it had tubular wheels on it. Not ideal as I'll be leaving it in my girlfriends possession when I go back to Vancouver. For now some donor wheels, and it gets an extra gear so no fuss. Might build up some clinchers on the old hubs.

Not really a big bike but whatever

_tom_:
oh balls. Not sure how or when this happened but I guess it's time for a new tyre. Are conti GP4000S still the best all rounders for the money? These have lasted me thousands of miles so I'm inclined to just get another set.

Dr. Steve Brule:
Yeah GP4000s are spot on. I've got Vittorias at the moment (because gumwall) but it's only a matter of time until they get a big slit and I go back to my old GP4000s.
