Admiral Ackbar:
what frame is that brule? feather???
its been like 70+ degrees the past week (lol wut new england?) so I've finally gotten back riding proper. nice to be back at it. i feel so good on my bike this year too. very pumped on my mileage from last yr and how my physiology has changed.
from yesterdays ride:
I've also been somewhat successfully been piecing together everything for a randonneur/adventure bike to accompany my road bike so i can stop brutalizing myself riding the china crabonz offroad and on my longass rides. gonna be something like a fast as fuck version of trail-boss' Faildale. I'm so stoked for it and hopefully ill have some pics for y'all soon. someone give me ideas of how to get it painted.
Dr. Steve Brule:
It's an 853 Brian Rourke, eBay bargain.
Was hoping to get out for a long one tomorrow but it's absolutely hammering it down.
Admiral Ackbar:
wow nice.
was it an off the peg frame or an unwanted custom? looks long too.. 56x58ish?? whats the geo if you can be bothered? sorry i jsut love to nerd out on that shit
also, one last series of questions... that a fabric saddle? what shape? do you like it?
lovin it tho. that ultegra kit looks good on anything...
Dr. Steve Brule:
It's 56 x 56. Not sure if it was a custom, very possible due to the sloping top tube, they're usually level. Yep, Fabric saddle, it's middle width, middle padding, feels great and a good price too.
Ultegra is like one of those weird girls who is sexy in a way you can't really figure out.

That is right nice. I'm after a steel 2nd bike, would love something like that but for the money I want to spend i'll probs end up with an Equilibrium if I can find one.
Finally put my 25mm tyre's on after sticking with my 23mm for years.. Changed my life.
