Do you like old or new bike companies?

Prodigal Son:
Man, their dropout protectors were a must have for me back in the day. They made the dropout 1/2" thick. Their og pegs were the best too.

Whats the worst is the old 44t solid dinner plate bent like the dropouts that were almost equally as big.

master:
I feel old and lame, but I just can't feel what most of the new companies are doing. I'm sure it appeals to the average 16 year old bmxer.

So I guess I stick to older brands that I like.

Dr. Steve Brule:
So many shitty complete bike companies I've never heard of, all doing the same things, completely saturating the market.

My current bike is made of t1, s&m, solid, flybikes, odyssey, g sport, and then a couple of bits from newer companies like éclat and BSD.

BSD is as old as G-Sport I think. I definitely bought a sprocket off Grant back in about 95. Definitely older than Fly.

Dr. Steve Brule:
Ha yep, I got a BSD sprocket many moons ago! One of my first 'aftermarket' parts. Probably 97?
