large cone wrench (not common), typical looseball hub adjustments, slack range

IIRC

skateparkrider:
I already have the 24mm cone wrench.  And can work on unsealed hubs.  Sounds like I need to pull the damn trigger already.  How bad is the slack range, say compared to a Reverse?  I like as much slack as she can give me.

i am hollywood:
In a recent convo I had with the designer of the Ezra hub told me patents have been filed and expect a summer release

I got almost a 1/4 crank slack out of my nankai. You just need to find a really really thin washer to go behind the clutch to keep it from knocking the spring off the inner long cone. That and the fact that its rhd only, 9 or 11t and requires a touch more maintainece than a sealed hub are the only issues IMO. Honestly you don't need to tear it down every week to keep it running, and even if you did its really quite simple with the 8mm broach in the axle.

That being said mine ran smooth as hell and fast as balls. I never had engagement issues and it stood up to my sketchy street riding.
