IF you can find Teflon plummer tape, I've used that in the past. It's not permanent fix but it helps

I was just going to suggest this and then I clicked next page and saw you beat me to it. I fixed hub wobble with it in a Hazard clone cassette. I had run it loose by accident which flared the bearing seat. The teflon tape made it stop wobbling for at least a year if not longer. I know the wheel was still going a year after I sold it too, don't know if it wobbles now though.
Should do the same thing on crank splines. And bolts that come loose - although don't use much there.
TeeMorrison:
Profile hub problem.
I've replaced the original axle in my mini cassette for a brand new 3/8 female axle, put it all together as the instructions on the Profile website says.
But when I tighten it all up and put the wheel in my frame and tighten it up, the driver spins like a fixed gear. I'm confused and it's driving me insane. Help?
Sasha:
Is the washer between driver bearing and hub bearing big enough?
TeeMorrison:
Hmm, that could be the problem. I'll take it apart and have another go at it.
