V3 powerbite
« on: March 31, 2024, 09:54:32 AM »
hi guys looking at cranks
do you know the diffrence between hollowbite and the V3 powerbite?

we had some dudes at RRB in Wisconsin who were kind of lowlifes running them so I always stayed away from Aluminum crankarms like that but ahhh people were calling me cheap or a deadbeat for using Excel classics Excel i don't know what that means to you
I think SBB had them?  I remember buying my t1 smalls off him in 2001 or so. My WTP Royals got stolen  :-X :-\
I have them for like $200cad on Dans its a good price for them i think.
I've had 4x pairs of cranks in the last 5 years some of the Wisconsin guys were complaining I borrowed Excels from the kids and stayed on them too long so I threw out 2x pairs of Excels with the pedal welded on lol so 2x trailmix too.
Some of the dudes on the forum using paint strippers and stuff alot of primers and building trails (POSH crew)

it's funny like EVERY pair of cranks right now is better than the Primo Excels except they are 19mm wtf

for someone who does this professionally i am constantly taking off my crank arms actually 3 piece is maybe better than 2.5 it's I think also they have a different spindle design I think very rarely do I remove the spindle it's just 3 pieces and I take off both crank arms together.

I would even consider so you make money like a fixed pedal design haha and i will buy a replacement crankarm/pedal combo liek a boot.
