TCbmx.:

--- Quote from: supergoose;3631778 ---that looks really nice.

as for the trans color: i think that depends a bit on the parts that you plan to use for the build.

everything is polished!
with black forks bars and cranks

Boomhauer:

--- Quote from: TCbmx.;3631777 ---No sanding at all it was rawed with stripper and I polished it up with fine steel wool and used mothers polish and a foam buffing wheel and went to town on it.
--- End quote ---

I know exactly what I'm doing to my bars now, thanks!

Did you avoid the weld burns too?

Yes avoid the welds with both the polish and the steel wool unless you don't want the weld marks.

i wouldn't do trans red, blue, purple or green, then.
aslo, i'm not too much of a fan of painted forks and bars on a silver/chrome frame.

i would either strip and polish the forks and bars as well (would then look very similar to Tom's bike.) or keep the black forks and bars and paint the frame trans black/gray.

it's up to you, of course.

whenever i can't make up my mind about a color theme, i usually browse bmxmuseum for a bit.
