So i inherited an old Smith and Wesson .22 revolver, but i know NOTHING about it. It looks super old and idk if i should even shoot it.

yeah it was. i wanted it very badly. i will have one eventually.

its not that old probably 60's or 70's. inspect the frame and barrel for cracks and such and shoot the shit out of it. if you don't feel confident enough to do it yourself take it to a gunsmith and have them do it.

Yep, did some research and in fact its from 1956. Still pretty old.
