--- Quote from: PabstBlueRibbon;3486369 ---Im looking for a carry weapon. I have come up with 3 that I really like. S&W model 19 2.5" barrel, S&W 686 2.5" barrel, or S&W 386 Night guard. I like the K/L frames. The only benefit I see with the night guard is it holds 7 rounds. Im looking to get one used and want to not spend an arm and a leg. What do you guys suggest

Why not a J frame? Much better for concealed carry.

Ruger 2 inch gp100 .357
stronger than smiths, less of a collectible following so less money

Rugers revolvers are great for what they are... decently priced, reliable pistols. Definitely look at one before you buy S&W.

J frames feel small in my hands
Dead End:
If you can find a Colt Commander those are one of the nicest small framed .45s I've held/fired. The Glock 23 is pretty small too, .40 is a good compromise.

Yeah, but a carry gun is not a range gun. If the gun is big you won't want to carry it... and it won't conceal as well.
