it is suposed to stay sharper longer. it is a composite steal that is sammiched in there and its pretty dialed.. COUCH knows more about it.
I bought it because the g10 feels so fucking dialed in the hands

The G10 Scales are amazing! G10 in general is great stuff, and the checkering they did feels really good. Grips when wet and isn't too rough.
The two part blades utilize a harder, longer wearing and more expensive steel (CPMD2) for the blade edge and a cheaper tougher steel (still great stuff) (Sandvik 13C26 stainless) for the backbone of the blade. Helps keep things sharper longer, tougher and cheaper.
