Yep im a pussy because i own a shotgun. Read the last couple of post about HD and then you can talk. 80% of the time if you just rack it you will not need to use it. But you coming from a country that has all your lads up in arms about flick knives, i would expect the you are pussy comment.

Obviously you have no knowledge of firearms. This isn't the movies. People don't explode from getting shot with a shotgun, their body doesn't fly back thru brick walls and take out cars along the way. Read a little bit, do some research, use your head perhaps?
Shotguns are THE best home defense. As yacqueli noted, just the sound of one racking will make someone shit themselves and leave faster than they entered. If they do get hit with it they will go down and you can be sure the shots don't go thru them, walls and into someone else if you're using the proper ammunition.
